Peep our interview with Scott and Rob from Anthrax before their set at the Mayhem Festival:
Chris sat down with As I Lay Dying guitarist Phil Sgrosso after the band's set at the Dallas stop of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour. They talked about the tour, the craziest thing he's seen on tour, comparing their stints on the Mayhem vs. Warped tours, his thoughts on the Randy Blythe arrest, how the arrest may change the way As I Lay Dying tours, the band's next album "Awakened," who he would put on a Mount Rushmore of Metal, and more. Watch their interview here:
The new album "Awakened" is out September 25. Looking forward to it!
We've got some bad news for you. Due to some legal issues (we told Chris to stay 300 feet away from that school!), HEAVY is being suspended for the time being. We're working on some solutions, and hopefully we'll be able to get new shows, music and interviews posted for you.
Basically, it has to do with streaming audio and the copyrights/royalties due to music publishers. After consulting with management prior to the launch of the show, we thought we were in the clear. However, an issue has come to light, causing the show to go into timeout. Spankings? Quite possible.
We'll keep you posted with regard to any developments. In the meantime, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to keep in touch. Thanks so much for your continued support. Hopefully, we'll talk to you soon.
Keep it HEAVY.
Fifty percent of that 30% is from Chris alone!
It estimated that around 29 petabytes of pornography is being transferred a month, or 50 gigabytes per second.
"The internet is for porn," is the title of a song on hit musical Avenue Q.
And it turns out the lyricists had touched on a home truth, because researchers have discovered that a staggering 30 per cent of all internet traffic is pornography.
The biggest porn site on the web - Xvideos - receives 4.4billion page views and 350million unique visits per month, according to a report on the ExtremeTech website.
Thanks to Joel for taking the time to do the interview. If you haven't seen MST3k before, do yourself a favor and check it out. Click here to register to win a copy of the MST3k volume 23 DVD.
More video has come out of the Guitar World roast of Zakk Wylde. We posted the video of Steel Panther's roasting; now we've got comedian Jim Norton's bit, which was really good. Watch it here (NSFW):

Hey, look! It's Scafidi, Corey from Trivium, and Chris!

New Shadows Fall! It's called "Fire From the Sky" (which is different than the fire in your loins, which you really should see a doctor about). Listen and let us know what you think of it in the Comments section below:
