Rangers Walk Off In Extras To Beat Cubs

The defending World Series champions started their title defense on Opening Day with a bang. The Rangers secured a 4-3, walk-off win over the Cubs in Arlington. Jonah Heim stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the 10th and delivered the game-winning single. David Robertson earned the win after pitching a scoreless top-half of the frame, while Travis Jankowski slugged a pinch-hit, solo homer in the ninth to tie the game. The series continues tomorrow.
