A new study found that the key to a great marriage is doing things without your spouse.
A full 78% of happy, successful couples said it is important for both people to pursue their own individual interests and hobbies.
That got more than twice as many votes as the second key to a successful marriage: 36% said it is important to learn how to argue in a healthy way.
The study also asked divorcing couples what caused them to split. Seventy percent of men said their wife nagged them or complained too much, while 83% of women said their husband did not pay enough attention to their feelings and opinions.
Almost everyone in the study, 95%, said that after a divorce, the right amount of time to wait until dating again is about six months.
